I am calling him finished.
I was going to title this painting "Almost Legal" because I thought a ram had to be 3/4 curl before it could be harvested. I have checked the Wyoming Hunting Regulations and it says "any ram". So I titiled it "Whiskey Mountain Big Horn Ram".

Kay, That Ram looks great!. I paint over a lot of canvases as well. People think we are cheap but we know that the paint sits up on top and doesn't get soaked up by the canvas. Those over paintings always seem to come out good and painterly looking, don't you think. I was thinking about painting the Ram also but I have a lot of paintings to get done for some shows back east and the Ram just will not be a hit. Take care and see you in May.
